Mireya Gessells – Receptionist, AI

Mireya Gessells is our new Youth PATH Program participant! A member of the Naltsiine (Sky) Clan, Mireya is the granddaughter of Phyllis Yazzie and Virgil John, and the daughter of Natasha and Michael Gessells. She draws inspiration from her sister Natalia, whom she admires and considers an important role model, motivating her to join the Youth PATH Program. Currently enrolled in her final year of high school, Mireya looks forward to discovering her strengths and weaknesses through this experience. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time with family and friends as she navigates this journey.

More About the Ahtna Youth PATH Program

The Ahtna Youth PATH Program is designed to provide Ahtna high school students with entry-level customer service and receptionist experience. Students are provided with a supportive work environment that emphasizes both soft and hard job skills — aiming to increase our youth’s ability to pursue careers that pay well and are personally meaningful.
