Ahtna Netiye’, LLC is excited to announce the appointment of Robert Harris as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Robert, an Ahtna shareholder and valued member of the community, brings a deep commitment to the advancement and lasting success of Ahtna Netiye’.

Born in Glennallen, but raised in Anchorage and the family homestead in North Kenai, Robert’s roots are deeply embedded in hard work and community values. His extensive career spans various leadership roles, including managing a startup energy services company and overseeing critical Municipality of Anchorage departments as Chief Fiscal Officer.

Robert’s background in engineering further complements his robust expertise. He previously managed teams at CH2M in the development of electric power generation facilities and served as president at Controls Engineering Inc.

His educational credentials include two bachelor’s degrees from MIT in economics and electrical engineering and master’s degrees in business administration and electrical engineering from the University of Washington.

In his role as COO, Robert is committed to supporting the entire team at Ahtna Netiye’ towards a future rich with opportunities, while preserving our cultural heritage for generations to come. His focus will be on enhancing operations and ensuring profitable growth in alignment with Ahtna Netiye’s corporate values and objectives.
