PATH Youth Participant Highlights

Chloe Blome

Chloe Blome is our new PATH Youth Participant. She is currently in her junior year of high school, participating in the National Honor Society and the Drama, Debate & Forensics Program. Her aspirations include entering the fields of criminology or psychology, specifically considering careers as a lawyer or attorney. She believes that the PATH Youth Program will help her gain experience and better prepare her for future job opportunities. Her parents, Jennifer and Nathen Blome, and her grandparents, Merri and Gary Pennington, are associated with the Native Village of Tazlina.


Eric Duke

Shareholder Eric Duke, a 2024 high school graduate, joined the PATH Youth Program after attending this year’s Youth Job Fair. Before joining the PATH Program, Eric worked as a chef for Uncle Joe’s Pizzeria on Jewel Lake Road. Looking ahead, Eric is interested in obtaining his pilot’s license and pursuing a career within the airline industry. Eric’s parents are Anita Moran and Patrick Duke. His grandparents are Bud Duke, Chris Duke, and Gladys Moran. His family is associated with the Yanÿeidí Clan.


More About the Ahtna Youth Pathway Program

The Ahtna Youth Pathway Program is designed to provide Ahtna high school students with entry-level customer service and receptionist skills. Students are provided with a supportive work environment that emphasizes both soft and hard job skills — aiming to increase our youth’s ability to pursue careers that pay well and are personally meaningful.
