The 2019 Annual Meeting of Shareholders will be held on Saturday, June 1, at Glennallen High School. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with call-to-order at 9 a.m.
Shareholders will be mailed their annual reports and proxy materials by April 20. We will send only one Annual Meeting packet per household this year. Proxy voting forms and PIN letters will be mailed separately to individuals. This change will bring substantial cost savings to the company in printing and postage, as well as help to reduce our environmental impact. As in previous years, shareholders will be able to vote online. Instructions will be mailed in April.
For this year only, in addition to the early bird and online proxy prizes, there will be weekly special proxy prize drawings.
You can find more information about this year’s and previous years’ Annual Meetings at www.ahtna-inc.com/shareholders/annual-meeting-of-shareholders or contact Shareholder Services Manager Eileen Ewan at (907) 822-3476 or shservices@ahtna.net.
Meet the 2019 Board candidates
This year, in lieu of an in-person candidate forum, candidate videos will be posted on the proxy voting website at www.ahtnavote.com. You will need the Shareholder ID and PIN that was mailed to you to log in. The brief videos will help shareholders get to know the candidates better. Each candidate will be asked a set of pre-scripted questions. It is Ahtna’s hope that shareholders will use the information provided in the videos to help them make a more-informed decision regarding whom they want to elect.
